This function enhancement is essential for precise insulation resistance measurements in applications where customized test voltages are required.

For high-voltage systems up to 1100 V, individual automotive manufacturers have set higher insulation resistance test voltages. By extending the maximum test voltage to 1100 V, the METRAHIT IM E-DRIVE and XTRA now provide a suitable solution for these requirements.

For sensitive electronic components in 800 V systems, precise testing at the system voltage ensures accuracy while preventing potential damage from excessive test voltages.

For avionics and other delicate electronics, test voltages as low as 10 V can be set, enabling safe and precise measurements tailored to sensitive circuits.

With the intuitive operation, the function enhancement allows users to select between "Uset edit mode > Logarithmic" (standard) and "Uset edit mode > Fine tune", which enables fine adjustment in 10 V increments from 10 to 1100 V via the setup menu.

Requirement for the Riso Fine Function Enhancement

The Riso Fine function enhancement is available for METRAHIT IM XTRA or METRAHIT IM E-DRIVE devices with firmware version 1.8.0 or higher.
