Bridging Theory and Practice: GMC-I Service at the "Day of the Technician" at the GRUNDIG AKADEMIE

On May 7, 2025, the GRUNDIG AKADEMIE in Nuremberg hosted the first-ever "Day of the Technician" – a newly designed format aimed at promoting exchange, networking, and career orientation in the technical field.

GMC-I Service participated as an exhibitor and used the opportunity to present itself as an innovative industrial company and engage in dialogue with aspiring technicians.

In his opening speech, School Director Bernhard Papperger emphasized the vital role of active cooperation between educational institutions and companies: Only if this cycle remains active – attracting students, qualifying them, and integrating them into companies over the long term – can hands-on technical training be sustainably successful.

GMC-I Service fully supports this mindset. The personal exchange with participants on site once again highlighted the value of such formats for both sides: Many visitors showed great interest in job opportunities, career paths, and the company itself – ranging from technical internships to direct entry roles.

A strong partnership – beyond the event itself

The close collaboration between GMC-I Service and the GRUNDIG AKADEMIE is not a one-off occurrence, but part of an ongoing partnership.

In autumn 2025, we will once again offer our established short-term internship as part of the "Electrically Skilled Person for Industry" course – a practical opportunity that helps participants transition from training into real industrial applications.

In addition, several of our employees are currently enrolled in part-time technical training programs at the GRUNDIG AKADEMIE – a great example of how education and industry continue to grow together.

Events like the "Day of the Technician" send an important message to the next generation – and offer a meaningful space for dialogue.
