  • What packaging is required when sending my equipment?

    Please pack your test instrument sufficiently and carefully, use cushioning material, if available optionally incl. the measuring case and a stable cardboard box should serve as outer packaging.

  • What accessories should I send in?

    To ensure quality and if calibration is necessary, we recommend sending the original accessories.

  • What documents are required when sending my equipment?

    ATTENTION: Please clarify in advance with your purchasing/accounting department whether your company needs to trigger an official order. If yes, we need this order mandatory, otherwise we can not process your order.

    If you do not need to place an order, it is sufficient to send us your informal accompanying letter (e.g. a delivery bill) or alternatively use our goods accompanying document. This contains all the information we need to process your order if you do not have a purchase order or accompanying letter.

    Note: Your order is required because we do not use RMA numbers for simplicity and speed. Our goods accompanying document ensures that we have all the necessary information to process your order as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • When do I need to include a customer order and why is it mandatory, if applicable?

    Please clarify this question with your internal purchasing or accounting department. Unfortunately, we cannot answer that. Should your company require an official purchase order, we will need this in order to process your order.

    Note: Our goods accompanying letter does not replace an order from your company and serves exclusively to accompany the goods. Please inquire about the usual ordering formalities in your company before sending it in.

    Processing of your order is only possible with complete/correct data.

  • What information is needed from me?

    Sending us your order (Attention - very important: Please clarify internally in advance whether you need to trigger this!), cover letter or alternatively our goods accompanying document ensures that we have the following required information:

    Order number, calibration interval, a possibly necessary error description, order request, invoice and delivery address, contact person, e-mail address, telephone number;

  • How can I deliver my device?

    You can either send the device in or drop it in person to our customer service center (Beuthener Str. 41, 90471 Nuremberg).

    Opening hours of our center: Mon-Thu 08:00 - 16:30, Fridays until 13:00.

  • Do I need an RMA number to send in my device?

    For the sake of simplicity and speed, which our customers appreciate very much, we do not work with RMA and return numbers to pick up and accept your shipments. Therefore, no registration of your shipment is necessary.

  • You have questions about your process, an estimate, or want to speak to a technician?

    You will find all relevant contact persons on the confirmation of receipt. If your contact person is currently in another customer conversation, you will automatically be connected to our head office.

    Our employees will record your request and pass it on to the specialist department if they are not already able to help you directly. The specialist department will contact you as soon as possible.

  • Can I send in devices from other manufacturers (besides Gossen Metrawatt)?

    Manufacturer-independent calibration: We calibrate a very wide range of different devices and manufacturers. All devices go through the same calibration process with us.

    100 % final inspection of Gossen Metrawatt brand measuring and test equipment: We are the only calibration service provider to carry out a complete final inspection and check all measuring points as for a new device, resulting in a measuring result that is accurate to the point, legally compliant and audit-proof!

    When it comes to repairs, we specialize in Gossen Metrawatt brand equipment, using not only our first-hand expertise but also the manufacturer's original components.

  • You have your company headquarters in Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, China, USA or ROW?

    In this case, please contact the national companies responsible for you directly in order to process your order through them.

  • When is a lump-sum expense or estimate fee due?

    The flat rate of 49 € is due if we have to prepare a cost estimate, for example, to clarify the condition and condition of the device sent in and to carry out an initial inspection / incoming inspection. Or you have requested a cost estimate in advance and then decided against performing the service.

    Please understand that we cannot offer this activity and the associated effort free of charge. Upon approval of the offered service (repair and/or calibration) and the associated order placement, the lump sum will be waived or credited to the invoice amount in your favor.

  • How can I release my open cost estimate?

    With us, you have several options at once to release your open cost estimate:

     

    1.     2. You can release the cost estimate by means of your own internal customer order (e.g. via your purchasing department as well as by indicating our order number, which you will find on the cost estimate).

     

    3. Or you can reply and refer to our e-mail containing the cost estimate and inform us in writing that you wish to place an order. Again, please provide us with the order number found on the estimate. (So you don't have to print the document, fill it out by hand and then scan or fax it back to us).

     

    4. You could also edit the PDF file of the estimate digitally, fill it in, sign it and send it back to us by e-mail. (So you don't have to print the document, fill it out by hand and then scan or fax it back to us).

     

    Please note: Unfortunately, approval by phone or verbally is not possible.
