GMC-I Service GmbH makes a guest appearance at the Grundig Academy seminar center

Three of us, with 2 safety testers SECUTEST ST PRO of the brand GOSSEN METRAWATT, the PROSECUBILD for the transmission of a live demo on the device, instruction books for the electrician and GOSSEN METRAWATT's main catalogs, visited the Grundig Academy in Ostendstraße for the first time on 27.07.23 for the short practical course of the course participants.

We - Stephan Kick (Sales Field Service Gossen Metrawatt), Daniel Tempcke (Tech. Support GMC-I Service) and Cindy Wendt (Marketing GMC-I Service) - had one goal: to familiarize the 10 participants of the course "Specialist for defined activities" with the practice of safe testing, the changes in standards in the course of DGUV testing as well as our products and competencies.

Topics and contents: "Short practical course theoretical introduction and practical application of measuring instruments"

• Information about currently valid standards
• Information on the organization and performance of tests for electrical safety
• Presentation and application of the safety tester SECUTEST ST PRO from GOSSEN METRAWATT
• Measurement demonstration with the SECUTEST ST PRO
• Practical hands-on and measurement on the device under test

We rounded off our visit with the award of an additional certificate of service for the content and practical experience by GMC-I Service GmbH. The certificate once again makes clear the importance and value of the topics taught. And after passing the exam, there is also the certificate of the Grundig Academy.

The instruction books for electricians were also particularly well received by the participants. The topics of the change in standards and the proper testing in accordance with DGUV A3 regulations and the subsequent issue of test reports generated questions among the course attendees. Our reference to when electrical tests are mandatory and a must caused astonishment. In practice, this knowledge and awareness does not yet seem to exist everywhere. These questions then also resulted in the valuable information to the participants that Stephan Kick and Daniel Tempcke are available for further questions at any time and that, if necessary, they can fall back on the comprehensive, practical training offered by Gossen Metrawatt.
