Calibration interval

  • By default 1 year due to the calibration certificate
  • The actual interval depends on various factors and is dependent on the individual user

The Test Equipment used need to be monitored and calibrated frequently in order to execute permanently valid measurements. Among other things, the calibration interval depends from the following factors:

  • Measured values and permissible tolerance band
  • Strain on the measuring- and testing equipment
  • Stability of past calibrations
  • Measurement accuracy required with regards to the process
  • Definition of the quality assurance system

Finally this means, that the time period between two calibrations can be set and monitored by the user himself. Regulatory information can be found in the chapter "Legal Requirements".

For supporting our customers with the definition of the right interval, we are offering a free consulting by our employees.
